I knew a friend who once told me about the beautiful sunsets she would watch from her window as a kid. I didn’t think much of it and didn’t really say anything. Years later I heard her mention it again to a young man we met in a coffee shop.
“From your window? Why not watch the sun set from outside?” He asked. I looked up from my cappuccino and stared at my friend. She blushed.
“I was confined to my bed for almost two years because of an injury.” She said quietly.
“You never told me that!” I blurted out hotly. My friend shrugged her shoulders and said, “You didn’t seem interested.”
