It was done. I did it and there was no undoing it. I drove around aimlessly, my mind replaying the event over and over again. Occasionally the cycle was broken by a need to focus on the impossibly steep hills I was driving. For just a second I wished this were a flat city, a “proper city” like my Grandmother would say, but I instantly but that thought out of my mind – it was these hills that saved me earlier today, I was grateful.
