A Morning

Morning. The collective yawn that started the night before, ends, one by one, as each of us joins the waking world. In some places, it is tired in ways different from sleepy and we wished that the air had scrubbed everything clean over night. But it didn’t and so we do what we can with what we have. What we have is the fog pouring in like a steaming cup of coffee just as the sun decides to open its eyes on the day. It has happened many, many times this way and it will happen many, many more, but sometimes when we look at it just right, we can see a moment of magic. And that can make all the difference.
