The ocean sighed and with an agreement between all its molecules, washed away evidence of those that were here before me. I sighed too and wondered if my own molecules ever agreed on anything and could wash away my regret. Then the wind tapped me on the shoulder and whispered a poem so beautiful that I wrote it in the sand. A wave came and washed it away and although startled, I was not sad because at least I had known beauty.

Kathleen, the depth of this piece is beautiful. This is one I will save because it has Spirit shining through so brightly. I’ve always said you were gifted but, it seems that having children has brought you closer to the divine.
